With your own private guide, you’ll discover the region at a relaxed pace, visit selected wineries and learn what makes this landscape and its wines so special. There’s time to enjoy tastings and take in the scenery along the way.

Wine – enjoy the tastings that suit you

Each winery offers its own tasting experience, from a relaxed introduction to three wines to a more in-depth flight of seven glasses. Prices typically range from €20 to €35 per person, per winery, depending on the experience. Enjoy your wine on its own or accompany it with local cheeses, cured meats and homemade bread. Some wineries also offer a light lunch with vineyard views.

You pay the winery directly, so you can decide which tastings are right for you. We’ll help you choose and arrange the visits as part of your private itinerary.

Sample prices with wine tasting:

• Half-day tour (€250) for 2 people with 2 wineries at €20 per person at each winery: approx. €330 total, €165 per person.
• Full-day tour (€400) for 4 people with 4 wineries with €20 per person at each winery: approx. €720 total, €180 per person
• Full-day tour (€400) for 6 people with 3 wineries with €30 per person at each winery: approx. €940 total, €157 per person

Lunch

Unfortunately there isn’t time for lunch on our half-day tours We have a few recommendations so you don’t go hungry.

• Our recommendation: Food pairings including cheese, cured meats and homemade bread are available at some wineries (veggie options available). Leave a note on your booking if you want to include this.
• You could enjoy lunch before or after your tour.
• Your driver may be able to recommend a place to eat near your meeting point.
• Split your time so you have a local lunch followed by an extensive tasting at one winery only.
• Consider our full day tour which includes a choice of a relaxed lunch at a local restaurant or a quick lunch at a local osteria.

Meeting Point

Our tours start in the Prosecco Hills region

Here are the most popular options for joining your tour:

• Self-transfer by train – there is a direct train from central Venice to the Prosecco region. Your driver will send you the train details then meet you at the station, typically Conegliano or Susegana. Around €14 return.
• Free local hotel pick-up within the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area if you’re staying locally.
• Private Transfer – your driver will pick you up from a pre-agreed location. Prices below.

Private Transfer: You can add a one-way or return transfer to your booking. Our prices are very competitive. Please make sure to add your transfer to your booking before you check out.

Arriving by train: The journey takes around 1 hour from the main Venice train station, Venezia Santa Lucia. Your driver will send you details of which train to catch after you book. We have more information about taking the train here: How to Get to the Prosecco Region.

Local hotel pick-up: your driver will confirm your pick-up time after you book.

What is Italy’s Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG  region? Italy’s sparkling wine is classified based on its production area and method. The Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG region is a small part of the wider wine growing area and is famous for its premium or ‘superiore‘ quality wine.

Additional Info

• We charge per group up to 6 people. There are no minimum numbers for this tour to run.
• We can take large group bookings of +6 people. Please contact us to arrange.
• With the exception of extreme weather, we run this tour even if it rains.
• Flat footwear is recommended for walking in the vineyards and wine production areas.
• We allow children on the tour with no minimum age. Contact us before you book if your child requires a car seat so we can ensure we have the right vehicle/seat options available on the day.
• No alcohol will be served to customers under 18 years of age.
• Tours are run in Italy (a relaxed country with high tourism levels) and in working vineyards. Therefore some sightseeing is subject to availability on the day e.g. a walk in the vineyards.

Cancellation Policy

Pay a 20% deposit to secure your booking. If you choose to cancel your tour, our cancellation policy is below.

You can amend your booking online for free up to 72 hours before your tour time.

If you cancel 72 hours to 48 hours before your tour, you need to pay 50% of your balance.

If you cancel 48 hours before your tour, you need to pay 100% of your tour balance.

If you choose to cancel your booking, your deposit is non-refundable.

If we have to cancel, we will return your payment (we haven’t cancelled a single tour yet).
